For Colored Girls…

This event has been postponed indefinitely. Last year, Karen Simms and I embarked on a journey with women in our community to explore Ntozake Shange's For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf. Over the course of nine months we wrote, painted, laughed, cried, engaged in spirited conversation and ate good food. What began as a way to gather and share has blossomed into an opportunity for a larger project. Local graphic designer Linda Kwon approached…

The Song of the Earth – Art, Science and Humanity

This production has been postponed indefinitely.   Though I am sad we will not share all the work at the end of March, it has been a lovely experience working with the scientists and existing in the role of writer for a time. *** I am excited for the opportunity to once again meld my love of nature, science and performance by joining this incredible team. KCPA 50th Celebration
