performance ensemble NEWS!

Performance Ensemble NEWS! The focus for the remainder of 2019 will be SOLO PERFORMANCE.  We will continue to meet on the third Sunday of each month from 3:00pm – 6:00pm to communally workshop our individual pieces.  Each session we will spend the first hour or so warming up and exploring a variety of devising practices that render performable material.  The remaining time will be for creating/refining/editing/discarding/crying/laughing and supporting one another through the process.  This will culminate in a Solo Performance…

Quantum Voyages (Re-Mix)

Last year Latrelle Bright (Theatre) and Smitha Vishveshwara (Physics) devised QUANTUM VOYAGES, a new theatre piece about the quantum world that premiered in March of 2018 for our Nobel Laureate Sir Tony Leggett's 80th birthday celebration at the University of Illinois followed by a performance at The Beckman Institute.
