Couple’s Theatre

I had a lovely time with these beautiful folk this evening and I'm excited about the possibilities for P.S.! Thank you to all who were able to participate!! Couple's Theatre is a PILOT version of a workshop I am hosting on Saturday, May 12th from 6p-8p. Couples of all kinds (life partners, siblings, co-workers, besties, etc.) engage in theatre games and writing and movement and sound exercises.

the arachne project

I am excited to announce that I have received partial funding from The Puffin Foundation for new devised work!   The Arachne Project will be a series of short theatre pieces about resistance.  The Greek myth of Arachne is one of defiance, knowing ones’ worth, speaking truth to power, the consequences that power inflicts, and the ways we – the defiant ones – adapt to those inflicted consequences and are able to use our newfound context to continue to be…

CPCP Catalyst Initiative: Latrelle Bright and Prairie Rivers Network

I am excited to announce that the Center for Performance and Civic Practice has awarded a Catalyst Initiative grant to me (artist) and Prairie Rivers Network (civic partner) to develop a small-scale local arts-based project focused on Watershed Literacy.  We're headed to Phoenix, AZ in December for a convening with other awardees.  Stay tuned!
